Minimalist "Styles"
A lifestyle
I will use coffee cups to navigate actions in each style using #smallmoves.

Visual Minimalist.
This is how I started. I didn’t own less, but I had less chaotic possessions laying around my house. Our favorite colors are neutrals. Bare walls, bare countertops. I always think the less I have out, the less I have to clean up. The cleaner on the outside the cleaner on the inside (my mind) .
#SmallMoves Switching to All white coffee cups. Simple, they need to match.
Fundamental Minimalist.
Quality and Quantity. Buy just enough groceries to last two weeks. When it comes around to my next paycheck, I make a list of all the items that I have left in my pantry/refrigerator and I create recipes to use all of it. I use this one from Amazon. Tip- You could get one from Dollar Tree and add Washi Tape from Amazon. The Washi Tape can be reused in MANY DIY Craft projects.

#SmallMoves- Throwing out all but 4 coffee cups. Why did I have 15 coffee cups?

Experimental Minimalist.
I see you. Booking those trips…making those big moves. Those experiences are more important than things. I get it. Have less so you can do more. I want to pack all my stuff into one bag. If you know me, you know I used to OVERPACK. Last year, I bought a duffle bag and I’ve been traveling with less. #smallmoves. Travel Journal w/ sushi tape? Yass.. #Tours4fun

#Smallmoves Throwing out all coffee cups and getting a sustainable travel mug. Always on the go.

Sustainable Minimalist.
Green Living. More tools, land, clothes if this means wanting for less. Homestead life. Creating hydroelectricity and living off the grid. I may be creating my own hydroelectric system. We will see #sneakpeak #offthegrid

#smallmoves - Stovetop coffee pot ( How cute) w/ portable gas burner with 100% Compostable Eco-Friendly cups.
Thrifty Minimalist.
Have you seen me in the local thrift shop? Hello <3 Yes! Financial mindset. What can I do with this piece of wire from that flower at Dollar Tree? Oh, I can use it to make a hanger! I always strip those wires out of the flowers and I use them for a craft. I STRUGGLE with throwing any type of material away for this reason. How do you balance between being a thrifty minimalist and a visual minimalist?

#Smallmoves- Buying those .25 cent coffee cups @ the local thrift shop and painting them with chalk paint. Maybe planting a flower in them TBH -(FIND ANY way to reuse them)
Mindful Minimalist.
In search of what makes them happy. We treasure the tranquility of the soul and strive to keep our spiritual and mental turmoil to a minimum. This isn’t a person ISO any sensible restraint, particular monetary necessity, environmental or visual motives but only in pursuit of their own peace. How do you create a refuge in your home? How do you make your house a home? I lived in my previous “house” for five years and It never felt like a “home”.
#smallmoves For me, Exactly what I am doing now. I started this blog. I started tossing stuff away. I made a shelf. I am making #smallmoves #AverageA

Döstädning.
Here we go..
The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning, available on Amazon. Magnusson handles this subject with wit and I love it. Who really wants to sort through ya old panties after you pass? When I die.. I don’t want you to worry about cleaning out my old stinky roller derby jerseys (hopefully I’ve made a quilt by then) LOL. If you know me, you know I’ve faced an unimaginable amount of grief. I am in my feelings about this one. I would recommend giving it a read. <3 Take care of your family while you can. #PLAN
"A slim yet sage volume... While Japanese item-control diva Marie Kondo gave us strict instructions to only keep things that spark joy, Magnusson’s book is straightforward and unsentimental (with a bit of humor). The main message from this mother of five is: Take responsibility for your items and don’t leave them as a burden for family and friends."
